Color + Water Wins the HiP Award for Materials
NeoCon 2026 marked the public debut of Color + Water at Skyline’s Humboldt Park factory. That same evening, at Interior Design Magazine’s annual HiP Awards ceremony, the collection won the HiP Award for Material, one of nearly 500 submissions considered.
Collection designer Kelly Harris Smith and Skyline Marketing + Communications Director Jessie Devereaux attended the ceremony and accepted the award.
Kelly shares, “Inspired by color, transparency, reflection, and the shifting qualities of water, the collection grew from a series of watercolor paintings that began as a way to slow down and reconnect with the creative process. It was wonderful to see the work at such a large scale and to hear people’s responses in person.”
